After more than a decade of planning weddings in Vieques, I still keep in touch with many of my past couples.
Recently, I asked them a simple question:

"I wish we had spent more time together."
A destination wedding isn't just a wedding day. It's one of the rare moments in life when all of your favorite people are in the same place at the same time.

One of the first things couples do when they get engaged is Google:
"Wedding venues in Vieques."
And honestly? Most of the information out there doesn't really explain how weddings work here.
Unlike many destination wedding locations, about 90% of the weddings I plan take place at private villas.
Instead of renting a venue for a few hours, couples rent a beautiful property where they stay with family and friends for several days. Then we transform that villa into their wedding venue.
It's one of my favorite things about getting married in Vieques.
Your wedding becomes more than a single day. It becomes an entire experience.
After planning hundreds of weddings on the island, these are the three private villa venues I recommend most often:

Angela and Luis were married at Blue Horizon surrounded by the people they love most, the sound of the ocean, and one absolutely gorgeous Vieques sunset.
No stress. No complicated timeline. Just a beautiful ceremony, happy tears, a lot of laughter, and a whole lot of love.
These two traveled all the way to Vieques and trusted us to pull together something special, and I think the photos speak for themselves.
