A great place for families to explore—and it’s not too far away—is the Black Earth Children's Museum! 🧸🎨

I recently had the opportunity to attend their Open House with a few other Mount Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce members. It was my first visit, and I was amazed by all the unique, hands-on rooms and engaging activities they have for children of all ages.

If you’re looking for a fun place to spend some time with the kids, I’d definitely recommend checking it out! 💛

Are You Making It Easy to Remember You?

I was thinking about this while standing in front of a room full of people.

We can spend so much time trying to get our message *seen* that we forget to ask a more important question:

Will they remember it?

Because being remembered isn’t always about saying more.

Sometimes, it’s the story you tell.

Sometimes, it’s the way you make people feel.

Sometimes, it’s simply the little thing you did differently that stayed with them long after the conversation ended.

That’s what good marketing does.

It gives people something to remember.

So, if someone came across your brand today, what would make them think of you again tomorrow?

That’s worth thinking about.

I was thrilled to be part of the Grand 2nd Reopening of BeeHive Homes of Mt. Horeb, WI recently!

Owners Adam and Amber have created a beautiful new facility that truly feels like home. It was a wonderful day filled with friendly conversations, warm smiles, and a strong sense of community.

Recently, I’ve had the privilege of attending the Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce monthly meetings, and it's been inspiring to see how much the Chamber does to support local businesses, encourage collaboration, and help the community thrive.

At the latest meeting, Carly Gordon, owner of 'The Pointer Collective' and also the Chamber's Secretary, shared a wonderful presentation on using Pinterest for business marketing. She was knowledgeable, and the conversations that followed were engaging.

If you stop by, you'll also find a great selection of Mineral Point souvenirs, T-shirts, unique gifts, and plenty of tourism information to help you discover local attractions and other must-see destinations throughout southwest Wisconsin.

Congratulations to Philip Ankney, owner of With the Trees Design Build, on his successful Ribbon Cutting and Open House! It was wonderful celebrating this exciting milestone with him and seeing the incredible craftsmanship he brings to every project. His woodworking is truly impressive.

Shelley and I along with some Mount Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce members were happy to be part of such a beautiful afternoon surrounded by friends, fellow business owners, and community members.
