My Learning & Networking Experience at the ABC Annual Conference in New Orleans 🌟
Attending this year’s Association of Bridal Consultants World of Weddings Conference ( ) in New Orleans was nothing short of inspiring. As always, ABC brought together some of the most passionate, creative, and forward-thinking professionals in our industry — and I’m returning to Puerto Rico energized, motivated, and full of new ideas to elevate both Tropical Weddings & Events and ABC Puerto Rico.
💡 What I Learned
offered an incredible lineup of educational sessions and industry experts. Some of my biggest takeaways included:
• Innovative planning strategies to enhance workflow and client experience.
• Fresh trends in design, technology, and cultural celebrations that will help elevate weddings across Puerto Rico.
• Tools to strengthen leadership, membership engagement, and community building, which I can’t wait to bring into our ABC PR programming.
• Business growth insights that reinforce the importance of systems, pricing confidence, and long-term sustainability.
Every session reminded me why continuing education is vital, no matter how many years we’ve been in this beautiful industry. After nearly three decades, I’m still learning — and still excited to grow.
🤝 Networking That Felt Like Family
One of the greatest gifts of an ABC conference is the community. I had the opportunity to:
• Connect with fellow planners, educators, and vendors from across the U.S. and Caribbean.
• Share best practices and brainstorm ideas for strengthening our work at home.
• Represent ABC Puerto Rico proudly as State Manager while building relationships that will benefit our members for years to come.
The collaboration, support, and friendships formed at conferences like this truly fuel my passion for what we do.
✨ Bringing It All Back to Puerto Rico
I’m excited to share these insights and resources with our ABC Puerto Rico community at our upcoming recap meeting. Together, we’ll take what we learned at and continue raising the standard of excellence for weddings and events across the island.
New Orleans reminded us all that when we invest in ourselves and each other, our industry becomes stronger — and our couples feel the difference.
