I love posting on wolves and news but rudeness and insults will get you blocked from this page. I’m all for free speech but when your comments start to target me personally then I draw a line under it. If you’re not interested in my wolfdogs, don’t follow.. no point coming on here just to put me down. This is my job and this is what I do. Imagine every day wanting to simply share the love of wolves but having to deal with thousands of trolls on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Please just leave this page as from now on I’ll just remove nasty followers myself.

It still astounds me when I see how Ocean was left versus her now! Nothing prepares you for how large they become. This is why only the most dedicated and experienced people should ever have a wolfdog. It’s very easy to get sucked into how cute and fuzzy the pups are without realising that 12 months later they can often be larger than a German Shepherd. Every day is wonderful with Ocean but even this morning I needed to help her greet a new person out on a walk. Her naturally cautious personality means socialisation is an ongoing training exercise that never ever stops. You can never push them so hard into an uncomfortable experience either or you’ll get a bad ever lasting effect with them where they can actively avoid that experience for the rest of their lives. She is ever so clingy too and quite possessive of me. This is ok as long as she learns it safe to be cared for by another person when I go away and that she must never be aggressive possessive of me.
