“Haptisizer” by Vitalina Louis Mahomedova (UA) is on view at the National Forum of Music 👀

This interactive installation combines a painting — a maze on canvas — with a sound synthesizer and microphone. The artwork was created collaboratively with participants of Louis’s studio workshop and painted using conductive paint. By touching the lines, you send an electrical impulse to the synthesizer, generating sound.

🔴Today (30.05) and 🔴tomorrow (31.05) you can not only, as per usual, experience the installation but also meet the artist in person. Louis will be present at the venue during the exhibition’s opening hours and happy to talk about the work.

❗️Please note: On Sunday (01.06), Louis’s installation — along with other Biennale WRO 2025 works at NFM — will be temporarily turned off, returning on Monday.

But don’t worry❕You’re still warmly invited to spend your 🔴Sunday (01.06) with us at other Biennale venues — or join Vitalina Louis Mahomedova at the WRO Art Center for a family-friendly workshop:

🟣 01.06, 12:00 – “To sound through touch and water”

A workshop for kids and their friends and familia with the Playtronica system, through which we will create a drum kit from water and play a concert together.

🖇️The work was created under the supervision of Pawel Janicki and realized thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as part of the Impulses program run by WRO Art Center.

The opening days of the Biennale WRO 2025 are behind us — thank you for being with us for 5 eventful days❕But this is just the beginning👀

The artworks remain on view across all venues until June 15, and the program of events continues❗️

🎶 Starting tonight at 9:00 PM at the National Forum of Music, don’t miss the Polish premiere of L’Être contre le vent by Matthias Krüger and Tobias Tobit Hagedorn — an improvisation for computer-controlled organ and electroacoustic processing, accompanied by a live video installation by Mira Boczniowicz.

Eating Earth workshop with dr. masharu at 66P – Subjective Institution of Culture.
An extended tasting session paired with storytelling about edible soils.

The Breath of Soil: Memory Nexus with Prof. Joanna Hoffmann.
Smell samples of garden soil, record spontaneous memories and emotions, and help create a poetic RNA “molecule of memory.”
