Elemental Holding, a Polish capital group specializing in recycling and trade of recyclable materials, is going to buy 51% of shares in UAB EMP, a Lithuanian recycling company. The price remains unknown.

Germany energy company RWE AG sells its oil and gas exploration and production division, RWE Dea, to Russian-owned LetterOne Group. Deal is valued the business at 5.1 billion euros ($7.1 billion). RWE Dea owns 4 concessions for shale gas search in Poland.

The Polish Competition and Consumer Protection Office, UOKIK, agreed to Alinda Capital Partners' takeover of the broadcasting provider Emitel. The company was previously owned by a private equity fund Montagu.

1. Orange Poland announced that the sale of Wirtualna Polska to the Group o2 for €90 million is completed.
2. Simultaneously, MCI Management acquired a 20 percent stake in the Group o2 from European Media Holding. EMH is owned by Innova Capital.

BNP Paribas, France’s biggest lender, agreed to buy Rabobank's BGŻ bank for about €1 billion ($1.36 billion) as it seeks to expand their business in Poland.

Russneft owner Mikhail Gutseriyev has bought a 15% stake in Exillon Energy, a company drilling for oil in Russia. The stake, valued at $107 million, was bought from a Swiss investment fund Woldview.

Exillon Energy is listed at both London and Warsaw Stock Exchanges.

Deutsche Telekom is to acquire GTS Central Europe for €546m from a group of private equity firms. GTS is a Warsaw-based telecommunications service provider.

Mid Europa takes further step to consolidate Central European laboratory market!

Diagnostyka, which is backed by Mid Europa Partners, said Wednesday that it has closed its buy of Consilio. No financial terms were disclosed. As a result of the transaction, Consilio will be renamed Diagnostyka Consilio. Based in Poland, Consilio is a provider of pathology exams.
