I’ve been sitting on a ready release for a couple of weeks now, waiting for who knows what 🤔

Perhaps it’s the dark and creepy timbre that just doesn’t seem to fit the sunny weather outside.

It seems like there’s no point in waiting any longer - expect some weird contemplative alien music tomorrow 👽

We had an amazing time at the exhibition on Wednesday, thank you from me & Zu to everyone who attended, it was a real pleasure to show other people our alien worlds 👽

Speaking of, there is a certain dark sci-fi universum set in the 41st millenium that has been appealing to my imagination for a very long time... And my next release, the ambient sounscapes I had prepared for the Xenoarcheology exhibition, is a homage to that dark, grim universe.

Who knows what I'm talking about? 😏

This Wednesday I will have the great pleasure of providing musical accompaniment for my partner's graduation exhibition.

The nature and subject matter of her work is close to my heart (as is she!), which has prompted a desire to provide as personalised a soundtrack as possible.....

As such, I revisited recordings of sound experiments and explorations I made in 2022/2023. The soundscapes created then are warped, dark atmospheres.... But about that later. I'll just conclude by saying that this project is becoming more and more generous to me. 👽

2,5 years after my first release I'm really happy to share my next track with you.

The idea originally sprouted back in 2020. Since then it has undergone some dramatic changes, to the point that it's pretty much a new track, with only a couple of elements left from the original. The vibe is predominantly tribal and dark. Without further ado, let me induce you into the tribe.

What is the value of creative work? How can one put a price tag on one's own work without making it seem ludicrous? Is a price tag always necessary?

Music is, of course, different from a tangible work of art that someone can buy and display in their home, but it seems that the valuation process that creations go through is generally governed by similar principles.

Every creator has to overcome the fear of being judged. Some succeed quickly, others do not.

Accepting one's own work and its imperfections is a key step towards becoming better at what one does. I wish this upon every creator out there.

Does this mean that I am definitively satisfied with myself and my works? Hardly. We are our own greatest critics. But it's good to finally feel confident enough to start sharing my creations.
