❝Where to start to tell what the Discover Northern Lights was? Let's start with her, the lady in green, who presented herself to us timidly at the beginning and then exploded with a beautiful lively green and even danced on our heads. A dream, a dream that has come true. But Norway is not only Northern Lights, Norway is always beautiful landscapes. Tromsø is great with its colourful houses, its calm and peace, the fjords that surround the city. And Sommarøy? And the blue lake? All wonderful things that our eyes and our cameras were able to admire and immortalise. For all this a big thank you goes to Gabri and Massi! Thanks to our wonderful group, thanks to the people I already knew that I saw again with pleasure and thanks to the new people I met. I will never forget this trip!❞

[DISCOVER NORTHERN LIGHTS I - TROMSO] Day 4
Our last day in Tromsø began with an amazing ▼outdoor photoshoot▼ featuring our incredible models, who were both kind and professional. We captured so many beautiful images, and we can't wait to share them with you!

After that, we enjoyed another unforgettable adventure together: an ▼authentic Sami cultural experience with the reindeer▼. Being so close to these beautiful animals and learning about the Sami way of life in such a breathtaking natural setting was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

❤It was the perfect way to bring this edition to a close—an edition we had dreamed about for a long time, one that gave us countless unforgettable memories. We shared so many emotions, created lasting friendships, and were lucky enough to watch the Northern Lights dance above our heads.❤

A huge thank you to everyone in our group for making this journey so special. Every single moment we shared will stay with us forever.

[DISCOVER NORTHERN LIGHTS I - TROMSO] Day 3

The third day in Tromsø began with a lovely ferry ride to our next destination. The views along the way were simply breathtaking!

Our destination was ▼Blåisvatnet▼, also known as the Blue Lake—a stunning glacial lake with an incredibly intense turquoise-blue colour, creating a spectacular contrast against the steep mountains surrounding it. Nestled at the foot of the Lenangsbreen Glacier on the beautiful Lyngen Peninsula, ◆Blåisvatnet is truly one of Norway's hidden gems◆.

The hike to the lake was an unforgettable experience and without a doubt one of the absolute highlights of the entire trip.

Then time for our last group dinner together!❤️

[DISCOVER NORTHERN LIGHTS I - TROMSO] Day 2

On our second day in Tromsø, we set off on a full-day excursion to the beautiful island of ▼Sommarøy▼, famously known as the only place in the world where time doesn't really matter.

Our first stop was ◆Ørnfløya◆, where we enjoyed a short hike that rewarded us with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views over the Norwegian fjords. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

After the hike, we took a well-deserved lunch break on a stunning white-sand beach. Some of our participants were even brave enough to dip their feet into the Arctic waters!

Next, we visited the charming village of Sommarøy, a place that felt incredibly peaceful yet magical at the same time. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters and dramatic mountains, it looked like something straight out of a postcard.

Our final stop of the day was ◆Ersfjordvegen◆, an incredible viewpoint where the fjords seem to merge together, creating one of the most spectacular landscapes we have ever seen.

As night fell, it was time for another ✮Northern Lights hunt✮... and once again, nature amazed us! The Aurora Borealis appeared above our heads for the second night in a row, dancing across the Arctic sky.

[DISCOVER NORTHERN LIGHTS - TROMSO]

We had been dreaming of this edition for many years, and finally, last year, we made it happen! Let's go back to the last October.

We travelled to the fairytale city of 🇳🇴Tromsø, Norway🇳🇴, and honestly, no words can truly describe how magical this place is. The peaceful atmosphere, the breathtaking landscapes, and the unique Arctic light make Tromsø a destination unlike any other.

What made this adventure even more special was sharing it with such an amazing group: many longtime friends from our wonderful Let Me Italian You family, together with new participants who joined us for the very first edition of ▼Discover Northern Lights▼.

On our first day, we explored ◆Tromsø with a guided city tour◆, discovering its most beautiful corners and reaching one of the highest viewpoints overlooking the city. It only took a few hours for all of us to fall in love with this incredible place.

In the afternoon, we visited ◆Storsteinen◆, literally "The Big Rock", a spectacular mountain ledge located 421 metres above sea level. It is one of Tromsø's most iconic attractions, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the city, the surrounding fjords, and the Arctic wilderness. Watching the sunset from up there felt like being inside a dream.

Then the moment we had all been waiting for finally arrived: ▸▸our very first Northern Lights hunt!◂◂

We drove for almost an hour outside Tromsø until we reached a small, quiet beach, surrounded by complete darkness and a perfectly clear Arctic sky.

ღღ We waited... and waited... ღღ

Then, suddenly, the magic began.

A faint green glow appeared above our heads. Little by little, it grew brighter and stronger until the Aurora started dancing across the sky right before our eyes.

We will never forget the joyful screams, the smiles, and the emotions shared by every single participant. It was a moment of pure happiness—a dream that had finally come true.

❝It was a wonderful trip, and I’m very happy I joined this group photography tour to Copenhagen. It was my first time visiting the city. The tour was well organized—Gabri and Massi took great care of us, and I could feel their support 24/7. I enjoyed the group excursions, workshops, and events, as well as the freedom to explore on my own. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a short getaway with people who love photography and enjoy discovering new places.❞
