Roberto Yriarte, better known as Bamb. is a DJ, producer, graphic designer, and a professional tattoo artist, born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, in 1987. His foray into music began at age 16, alongside his graphic design studies. He began training professionally as a DJ at 18, and has since then been merging visual and sonic elements into a comprehensive creative proposal. His initial focus was on Hard techno, a genre he mixed at his own events while designing flyers, visual art, and graphic communication, simultaneously forming part of their lineups.
He founded the production company ARKTEK (2005), a platform that boosted the techno scene in his city, beginning with regional DJs and evolving to collaborate with international artists from Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Serbia and Austria. This work made Barquisimeto a techno icon in Venezuela.
In 2010, he made his first international appearance in Brazil, followed by a participation in the Radikal Style festival in Colombia (2011). In 2013, he settled in Barcelona, Spain, where he continued producing events under the name Hard Resistance and perfected his musical style, which features dynamic mixing, scratches, and a strong influence from hip hop and old-school DJing.
Throughout his career, he has taken his sound to countries such as Italy, Germany, Portugal and Slovenia, and has participated in renowned Spanish festivals such as Selvatek and Mintagood.
As a producer, he has released tracks through labels such as Mental Torments, Massive Madness and Lab Theory.
In addiction to music, Bamb has explored body art as a professional tattoo artist. In 2018, he created BassArt, a project that fuses visual exhibition with live DJ sets focused on genres such as techno, drum and bass and dupstep, creating a unique sensorial experience between art electronic music.
After a six-year musical hiatus, Bamb returns in 2025 with a more powerful and mature vision, still based in Barcelona but producing parties in Alicante (Spain), where he resumes event production and his renewed artistic offering.
