So finally we are done with our sports activities for this semester SP 15. And the last final was from CCL (COMSATS Cricket League). It was played between ACES XI and ZEESHAN XI.
ACES XI opt to bat first after winning the toss and post a good total of 132/6 in allotted 15 Overs.

The highlight of the inning was partnership between Ahmed Waleed and Muhammad Shoaib. Later It was a quick blast by Asad Wali.

It was never easy for ZEESHAN XI to chase this target. First over by Farhan Ali decided the game. He took three wickets in four balls. And completed 5 wicket haul in 3 overs.

The final was won by ACES XI.

Muhammad Shoaib received Man of the Match Award.

We are very thankful to Sir Asad Saeed for arranging such a wonderful tournament for students of CIIT Sahiwal.

First semi-final of CCL was played between ACES XI and Friends XI. Toss was won by Friends XI and they asked ACES XI to bat. ACES XI managed to score 94 runs in their allotted 15 overs. It was last partnership of 40 runs between Mirza Azfar Baig and Farhan Ali (C) which helped their team to reach this respectable total.

In response to this small total, Friend XI couldn't stand against the fantastic bowling of Farhan Ali and Naeem Farooq. Farhan took 5 wicket haul and Naeem took 2 wickets with Eco of only 2 runs per over.

Match was comfortably won by ACES XI by 24 runs.

A friendly match was played between Ghousia Club Harapa and CIIT Sahiwal Football Team. It was a very interesting match. Most of the time, It was Ghousia Club having possession of the ball but the match was won by Team CIIT Sahiwal by 2 goals to 1.

Both goals were scored by Irfan.
