Basket plant,
also commonly known as chain plant or false bromeliad, is a tropical plant with thick leaves, small white flowers, and a preference for shade. They are usually grown as houseplants in chillier climates where they only require low to medium light and water every two to three days during growing season.
Note that because of their rapid growth, basket plants will require yearly repotting.
