Once again, Pakistan Rugby is proud to share an inspiring journey of a young girl from Sheikhupura — Sahar Riayz.
Sahar comes from a hardworking farmer family and lives almost 21 kilometers away from the rugby ground. Every training day, she travels this long distance with determination and commitment, proving that true passion has no barriers. Her dedication is not only inspiring her teammates in Sheikhupura but also motivating other young girls in rural areas to believe that they too can achieve greatness through sports.
Sahar’s story reflects the true values of rugby — passion, respect, solidarity, discipline, and integrity. She represents the growing movement of girls in Pakistan who are breaking barriers and stepping into the game with courage.
Pakistan Rugby Union is proud of Sahar and all the young athletes like her who are writing a new chapter for women’s rugby in the country.
