Superior University’s IEEE Society has collaborated with the Association of Computing Machinery Student Chapter at the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore to organise UTS 2.0 between 21st and 24th March 2022 at UET, Lahore.

The Superior IEEE Society signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate for the UET-ACM Technical Symposium 2022 in mid-March. The AWS Community and Netsol Technologies were fellow collaborators for UTS 2.0, which featured various seminars, workshops, technical talks, & project pitch competition.

Students from the Superior IEEE Society participated in various student body activities, which proved to be a great learning opportunity and a national platform for the students to showcase their talent. The event also proved to be an incredible opportunity for the students for capacity-building as they participated in various technical activities at UTS 2.0.

By the grace of the Almighty Allah, Superior IEEE Society has been awarded the Outstanding IEEE Branch Award at ITCN Aisa Tech Festival 2022.

It was a great opportunity for the students to harness their potential through activities like hands on quick competitions on drone development and get connected with top notch professionals from the industry invited as guest speakers at the event.

More than 42 universities under the umbrella of IEEE Pakistan Lahore section were invited to the event along with students and the branch heads.

President ITCN ASIA and CEO E-Commerce gateway Pakistan, Dr.Khursheed Nizam presented the award to Superior IEEE Society.

Superior University’s Rector, Dr. Sumaira Rehman will be addressing the IEEE Pakistan Student/YP/WIE Congress as a distinguished guest speaker. One of the largest gatherings of IEEE members from all over Pakistan will be held on February 26 and 27, 2022 at Royalton Hotel, Faisalabad.
Members from various student branches from IEEE’s Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore Sections are set to attend the PSYWS Congress. The annual event is an excellent platform for emerging engineers, aspiring innovators, technologists, and prospective entrepreneurs to learn about the most recent technological advancements and their potential effects at the industrial and domestic levels. The annual IEEE gathering also presents an excellent opportunity for the attendees to interact and collaborate with highly professional academia and industry personnel.
Superior firmly believes that meaningful academia-industry linkages and mentoring the innovative spark of the students will pave the way for an entrepreneurial revolution in Pakistan that has the potential to safeguard our nation’s long-term sustainability and economic success.
