It wasn’t too long ago, when the word ‘theatre’ would induce some very odd feelings among connoisseurs of performing arts but over the last 10-15 years, the dynamics of theatre in Pakistan have literally undergone an evolution, and Made For Stage Productions was not only a witness to this paradigm shift but is also proud to have played a small role in pumping oxygen in to the commercial Pakistani

theatre. Thriving on its niche of bringing live musicals to the stage, the company had experimented with non-musical drama, and had produced The Pillowman and Carnage in 2012, both of which had been critically acclaimed. The blockbuster sold-out hits include the adaptations of Chicago, Mamma Mia and the PAS Award winning and original musical Karachi (Haar Na Mano) from 2008-2011, GREASE , and then The critically acclaimed smash hit The 39 Steps . The BOBBLES is the first permanent theater group for children’s that will perform live and digital content for children .

There is a NAPA Womens Festival that kicks off this weekend. Hardly any people know about it ! Its an all womens festival - led by female ensembles.
The Bobbles is also performing this Saturday 6 pm over there!
