GAS Cylinder Information For All
Every LPG cylinder should undergo a pressure test every year. As a precaution, it’s best to get it done annually.
Never use Natural Gas and LPG on the same stove/line.
If you are using LPG, use a separate dedicated stove for LPG.
Reason: LPG and Natural Gas require different burner nozzles/jets.
LPG stove nozzle (jet) is thinner/smaller
Natural Gas nozzle (jet) is thicker/larger
If you run LPG on a Natural Gas (thick) nozzle, the flame will not burn efficiently and can cause black soot/carbon, which will blacken utensils due to incomplete combustion.
Use a good-quality Korean LPG pipe between the cylinder and the stove, and install a high-quality regulator on top of the cylinder.
This helps avoid leakage and prevents unnecessary gas loss/wastage.
Never overfill the cylinder.
Regardless of cylinder type, always fill it to maximum 70% of its capacity never 100% full.
Placement matters:
Try to keep the cylinder in an open / well-ventilated place, and use a longer gas pipe to maintain safe distance from heat and enclosed areas.
