A New Chapter in Climate Action: CHF & Commune Artist Colony Unite

In a historic moment on February 16, 2025, the Climate Hub Forum (CHF) signed a landmark MoU with the Commune Artist Colony—heralding a new era in sustainable urban development for Karachi and Pakistan. This sacred agreement, signed by Yousuf Bashir Qureshi (Founder, Commune Artist Colony), and witnessed by CHF prominent members, Hasnain Homaey, and Humera Hashmi, underscores our global commitment to UN SDGs, the Paris Agreement, the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, and the MAP Declaration which CHF signed at the recent UN Climate Change Conference in Baku.

Our Vision & Goals:

1.Transform Urban Landscapes: With projects such as the One Million Trees Initiative and Towards Zero Waste—including Plastic Free Beaches and Sustainable Destinations—CHF is reshaping urban environments into resilient, livable spaces.

2. Empower Through Education: Our Climate Change and Environmental Education Training Programs for Early Years and Primary Teachers pave the way for a future built on sustainability and awareness.

3. Revitalize Degraded Cities: As Karachi and other coastal cities face unprecedented environmental challenges—rising temperatures, worsening air quality, and urban degradation—the need for innovative, community-driven solutions has never been more urgent.

This collaboration is not just an agreement—it’s a commitment to reversing the tide of global climate destruction. By uniting with the Commune Artist Colony, CHF leverages the power of art to foster environmental stewardship, inspire creative reimagining of public spaces, and mobilize communities in the fight against climate change. Recent data from Pakistan underscores the dire need for action: urban areas like Karachi are experiencing significant environmental degradation, making sustainable interventions a critical priority.

Hyge inspired activities and Snack...
Autumn has already started everywhere on earth and chill winters are about to start. I'm a big 'Hyge - inspired' soul and love to spend time doing little things with love, and that's keeping my soul fresh and warm everyday.
As I finished my Autumn inspired Cleaning routine, I felt the urge to make a Hot Coffee. Coffee beans are the most therapeutic effect on our psyche in late Autumn afternoons, so I got to brew few beans for a perfect cup.
Using my Chinese Kung Fu Tea set, I boiled the water and gently added to the Brewed beans. While pouring water, my senses got the most satisfying aroma and that's the peak of enjoying Coffee in Fall afternoons.
I can't just have my hot cup of coffee without thinking of my favorite Peanut butter toast. These days as I'm enjoying little pleasures of house chores, I avoided the toaster and put my bread pan on the stove, that always enhance the experience..,so I enjoyed the colours of toasting while changing the sides of toast.
This is the perfect snack for a Fall loving soul..

Pondering the Origins of Kalasha people ...
The Kalasha are ancient tribe of Pakistan and they have their own way of life, their own religion, language, rituals and their own identity. This part of Pakistan is considered to be a well preserved ethnic and cultural museum. Owing to this value, Kalasha culture has been listed by UNESCO for consideration as World Heritage Site.

The Kalasha culture is unique and tourist come from all over the world here to see the beauty of this unique culture. Each year a many historians, anthropologists, sociologists and photographers from all over the world focus the Kalasha society. The numerical strength of the Kalasha people is about only 4,000 (as estimated in 2010).
