𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐋𝐒𝐖𝐃𝐎𝐏𝐢 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲

During the closing days of April 2026, CEO – Corporate Events and Communications gracefully organized a 3-day event for the 29th Association of Local Social Welfare and Development Officers of the Philippines Inc. (ALSWDOPi) National Convention and General Assembly at KCC Mall de Zamboanga. As the host city, Zamboanga, together with CEO, warmly welcomed delegates from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao through the Zamboanga International Airport and the Integrated Bus Terminal.

On April 28, the 29th ALSWDOPi National Convention kicked off with the Parade of Regions, highlighting the diverse culture of the Philippines. This was followed by the Gawad Parangal Awarding Ceremony honoring outstanding officials for their service and dedication in making a meaningful impact on their communities. The day was further filled with purpose-driven presentations, invigorating icebreakers, and a Mayor’s Night celebration capped with a delectable dinner.

After an inspiring first day, the convention continued to build excitement on April 29 as Day 2 offered deeper discussions that empowered individuals, families, and communities through social work. Following the plenary sessions, the General Assembly formally began, bringing participants together for meaningful discussions and activities toward uplifting communities.

As the event organizer, CEO remained committed to ensuring an unforgettable journey for all delegates, guiding them through a benchmarking activity and city tour on April 30. The day started on a vibrant note with a serenade from the LGU Brass Band at the Office of the City Social Welfare and Development, followed by an orientation at the Centers and Residential Care Facilities located within the DSWD Compound in Mampang. The delegates also enjoyed lunch at Isabelle’s Cafe and Venue while immersing themselves in the rich culture and vibrant atmosphere of Zamboanga City.

CEO – Corporate Events and Communications is proud to be part of the OVP Pop-Up Exhibit, “𝘌𝘟𝘛𝘙𝘈+𝘖𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘺: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴” in celebration of the 90th Anniversary of the Office of the Vice President, carrying the theme “𝘖𝘝𝘗 𝘢𝘵 90: 𝘋𝘶𝘵𝘺. 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘺. 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘤𝘺.”

Now on display at Robinsons Pagadian from May 11 to May 24, 2026, the exhibit invites everyone to rediscover the vice presidency as a vital force in nation-building through the stories and contributions of the Vice Presidents who shaped Philippine history and inspired generations.

CEO extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Office of the Vice President for the trust and opportunity to help mount this meaningful celebration of history, service, and legacy.
