WELLโฆ THIS IS WHY WE HAVE CONTRACTS & SECURITY DEPOSITS. ๐ญ
When people ask why event suppliers require contracts and deposits. Because tables, chairs, catering equipment, plates, glassware, linens, backdrops, props, and styling pieces actually cost money. ๐
And before anyone panics โ THIS PHOTO IS JUST FOR FUN! ๐ No catering equipment or styling pieces were harmed in the making of this post. But yesโฆ these are exactly the kind of scenarios event suppliers have nightmares about. ๐
Contracts and deposits arenโt there to make booking complicated. They protect BOTH SIDES. They protect our clients by putting the date, package, inclusions, pricing, and responsibilities in writing. And they protect us because replacing damaged or missing equipment isn't exactly โฑ50 lang sa tabi-tabi. ๐ญ๐
Most clients are amazing and take good care of our equipment. โค๏ธ But โMaโam, ingatan po namin, promise!โ unfortunately doesnโt replace a broken chair, missing glassware, or damaged styling piece. ๐
So yes, we require contracts.
Yes, we require deposits.
And yes, thereโs a reason professional event suppliers do both.
Because โPromise po, iingatan naminโ is sweetโฆ
but itโs not a damage policy. ๐
