The wedding of Charles and Julie was absolutely stunning. Every detail was so beautifully thought out, from the breathtaking ceremony to the elegant reception. The love and joy between them was so evident, making the entire day feel magical. It was a celebration filled with warmth, beauty, and unforgettable moments!

Quick Tip for our soon to be bride(s) 🫰

On your big day, the first solo photo shoot you'll be doing is your "robe shots" or some call it pre-gown shots.

Robe(s) - has different styles, design, color and mainly type of fabric. In most weddings "satin" made robes are worn since this is the common type or robe available since the pre-gown shoot existed. Those shiny, bath robe look a like with embroidered names at the back that says "The Bride", "The Bridesmaids" is a good and easy find. However, as we go through the science of photography, we noticed that Satin fabric is highly reflective, especially under bright lighting or camera flashes. This can cause certain areas of the robe to appear overly bright or washed out in photos, making it difficult to capture details properly. Additionally, the shine of satin can sometimes create an unbalanced exposure, especially in contrast with other fabrics or skin tones.

To avoid such, we suggest that instead of getting those "satin" made robes, you can also achieve such elegance in getting a robe made with cotton or those feathery stylish or modern fashion robes.

If you strongly prefer satin fabric, maybe you want to consider putting something on top of it to negate the reflection coming out. A perfect sample are the photos below taken during our bride Julie's pre-gown shoot. You'll notice that even in outdoors the detail of her robe is still present, of course not to mention that the images are perfect since we have a such beautiful bride in frame ❀️

We'll never get tired of capturing weddings held in such a beautiful church like St. Pio (Pedro Calungsod) Antipolo for its naturally perfect ambient lighting which gives us more dreamy and airy vibe in details. And as the sun goes down and hits the interiors of this beautiful church it gives us a sense of how paintings are made using these exisiting resources. Just a quick back story. I met our groom way back during my teaching days as a professor where Christian is one of my student who since then is expressing his fun and energetic aura.
