BARANGAY MAUGAT SINGING IDOL & DANCE CONTEST

MECHANICS for SINGING IDOL:

1. Exclusively for Barangay Maugat Residence.
2. No Age Limit
3. The participant is given a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 minutes for their performance.
4.Performing beyond the allotted time will result in a 10 points deducted.
5.Accompaniment should only be in minus one.
6.Appropriate and decent attire must be worn.
7.The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

CRITERIA for SINGING IDOL

Voice Quality and Tonallty 40%
Control and Technique 30%
Interpretation and Expression 20%
Stage Presence and Impact 10%
Total of 100%

MECHANICS for DANCE CONTEST

1.The dance competition is open to all dance groups,all male/female or mix.
2.Only 10-15 groups shall qualify to Compete on January 23,2023 at Brgy.Maugat, Tanauan City.
3.Each participating group is required to register.
4.No registration fee shall be required.
5.The dance piece can be composed of any dance genre: Jazz,Break Dance,Etc or any combination.
6.Dance routine should be a minimum of 3 minutes and maximum of 7 minutes performance lacking or exceeding of the allowed time duration will result to point deduction.
7.All songs in the performance piece must be appropriate and suitable for any age. Foul taste in music such as profanity,explicit lyrics will result to point deduction.
8 Use of props will be allowed as long as it will not cause any delay in the program and those that may harm the performance of other groups,props such as oil,confetti,fire,broken glass,live animals,sharp objects and the like are prohibited 🚫.
9.All participants should conduct themselves in a manner displaying good sportmaship throughout the competition,any demonstration of unsportmanlike conduct will result to disqualification.
10.Groups may wear any costume/Attire provided that Costumes are Decent and Secured.
11.Appropriate footwear is required during the performance barefooted and wearing of sandals slippers will result to point deduction.
12.The decision members of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.
