Would you believe we designed this exhibition centerpiece almost 20 years ago? Commissioned by the Department of Trade and Industry, this focal point display stood inside a massive inflatable tent set up at Island City Mall’s sprawling carpark. Even then, we were already drawn to warm light, natural textures, sculptural forms, and spaces that quietly pull people in. Concept and Design by Blue Grass Project with Joseph Ven Garay Dumadag.

The wedding of Karla and Aleksander. An intimate gathering of 28 guests by the sea, vows exchanged in the hush of a breezy sunset. Vines and greens (she was going to become Mrs. Vine) entwine with white blooms, brushed in blush. Serpentine tables wind beneath a constellation of chandeliers, table lamps, and candlelight. No stage, no program, just sunset cocktails with an awesome DJ, flowing into an easy evening of fine European wines, Somi shots, and a beautifully paired dinner.
