Since its establishment in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute (ITI), World Theatre Day has celebrated the power of theater to inspire, educate, and unite communities worldwide. In this spirit, Lipa Actors Company (LAC) marks its 15th anniversary as a champion of community-driven theater in Batangas, bringing socially relevant stories to life and empowering local voices.

For over a decade, LAC has embodied theater’s transformative role, using the stage as a platform for dialogue, cultural expression, and social change. As we honor World Theatre Day, we also celebrate LAC’s commitment to meaningful storytelling, proving that theater is not just an art form but a force that shapes lives—both in Batangas and across the world.

2️⃣ Tourism, Culture, and Community Category
