It has come to our attention recently that there has been a recent art theft committed by one of our exhibitors during Tacloban HobbyExpo - HobbyEx and our other past events, including those of Otaku Tacloban Cosplay Host Organization, whose events we are authorized to continue in the following months or years.

Hello, everyone!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of ๐‘ช๐’๐’”๐’‘๐’๐’‚๐’š ๐‘ฉ๐’‚๐’๐’: ๐‘ป๐’‚๐’๐’†๐’” ๐’๐’‡ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐‘น๐’๐’–๐’๐’… ๐‘ป๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’๐’†, originally scheduled for December 21, 2024. After careful consideration and reviewing the current registration numbers, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the event due to insufficient registrants.

We will begin processing refunds for everyone who has made full or partial payments starting this week (November 17, 2024 and onwards). We will communicate with those who registered for their refund process which is already prepared.

We understand how much our community looks forward to these events, and we genuinely appreciate the enthusiasm and support you have shown. However, despite our efforts, it has become clear that the registration fee has been a barrier for many, and we do not want to proceed with an event that may not be accessible to the majority of our community. Harken! We shall await registrations until the end of this week for those wishing to attend The Cosplay Ball: Tales of the Round Table this December 21, 2024. Should the number of registrants fail to reach at least half of the expected guests (fifty souls), we shall cancel the gathering and hold an alternative festivity in its stead. As of now, nine have pledged their attendance.
