A Wedding Story of Faith, Love, and God's Perfect Timing
Martin & Darling | July 6, 2025

A wedding ceremony is not just a celebration of love, it’s a sacred covenant that requires deep faith, trust, and surrender to the Lord.

Let me share a story that reminded us of how powerful prayer and faith can be.

On the night before the wedding of Martin and Darling, and even into the morning, the rain poured relentlessly. The ground was muddy, the chairs soaked, and we were filled with worry. Our bride, Darling, had always dreamed of an outdoor ceremony but it felt almost impossible.

I took a moment to pause, sat down quietly, and prayed. I asked God for a sign:
“If the rain doesn't stop by 12:30 PM, we'll move the ceremony indoors.”

As we started preparing the indoor setup, I suddenly felt warmth on my arm. I looked up…
The sky was opening. A soft ray of sunlight broke through the clouds. And in that very moment, I couldn’t help but shout,
“Thank You, Lord!”

The skies cleared just in time, and the wedding proceeded exactly as it was meant to be outdoors, filled with light, love, and God's presence.

The wedding of Martin and Darling reminded us all that God truly listens when we pray with a sincere heart.
A beautiful day made even more meaningful through faith.
