The HOP committee is an organization in the Philippine National Police Academy, which is in charge of all Cadet Hops like Lighting of the Giant Star, Rites of the Ring, and Valentines' Hop.

Hop is one of the biggest events in the cadet corps. It is an assembly to promote fellowship. It is an event wherein the most treasured moment in the life of a cadet is celebrated with their loved ones and other high-ranking officers.

Just like any other social gathering, its purpose is to enable cadets to observe social graces and proper etiquette during formal gatherings which are expected from individuals with high status.
