how HEART and HAND MADE started

The shop started really as a hobby and an addiction in creating new creative pretty things. It started with crocheted hair accessories for children, evolved to fabric flower shop until it ended with hair jewelry which we currently make.

In a small room, with limited materials, my creativity, and a whole bunch of knowledge i got from Art School, I started making a few and sell them. Without any knowledge about business management, pricing and other essential knowledge about starting a business, i stumbled and fell so many times I almost gave up. But with the encouragement and support from my fiance, and a lot of help from a handmade community i met, I went on and learned and did it!

Now, Heart and Hand Made is an online hand made business run by yours truly, Olive Cruz, as a designer and manager. We make our products carefully and manually by hand thus making our products more durable and intricate. All our designs are original and are mostly in limited edition. We make every design special to bring you instagram and selfie worthy photos!
