Yakap Program is looking for a Tatay, 75 years old and above someone who has carried years of sacrifice, love, and quiet strength to be our Yakap Father of the Year 2025.

If you know a Tatay who has given his whole life for his family, who stayed kind even when life wasn’t fair, who continues to fight despite age and hardship… we would love to honor him.

Today, my heart is overflowing with gratitude and pride. As a parent, I witnessed the struggles, sacrifices, and sleepless nights of a son who carried so much, yet never complained. Coming from a medical background, I know how difficult it is to pursue a medical course and pass the PRC Licensure Exam. That is why I always reminded Marx to stay focused on his studies and his review. But he would always say, “My/Dy’ I can manage everything. And true enough, he did while helping so many others along the way. Marx has always been hardworking. Every raket, every opportunity, he took not for himself, but because he never wanted to be a burden to us. A softhearted son who always puts others first his friends, classmates, neighbors he wanted everyone around him to succeed. When he was crowned Hari ng Pilipinas 2022, he didn’t settle for a title. He turned his advocacy into real action through the YAKAP Program serving communities with compassion and dedication. And today, he has proven once again that, this is not just a passing of an exam it is a victory shaped by perseverance, humility, and a genuine heart for others. We, as parents, are beyond proud.
