Before God trusts someone with influence, He first teaches them surrender...

Not the surrender that looks dramatic, but the kind that happens quietly, in the heart. The kind that no one applauds, the kind that feels like losing, the kind that feels like God is taking instead of giving.

Look at the leaders in Scripture, their training didn’t start on a stage, it started in hidden places.

-Joseph learned leadership inside a prison.
-Gideon learned courage while hiding in fear.
-Samuel learned to hear God when no one else was listening.
-Even Jesus formed His disciples through correction, servanthood, and unexpected assignments.

Ganito magturo si Lord...

Hindi muna leadership, kundi character.
Hindi muna influence, kundi obedience.
Hindi muna visibility, kundi depth.

And that “breaking” is not God destroying you, it is God removing what will destroy your calling later.

Pride, ego, stubbornness, impatience, self-reliance, lahat yan unti-unting tinatanggal kasi hindi yan pwedeng sumama sa destiny mo.

Sometimes you wonder,
“Lord, bakit parang nauubos ako?”
But maybe He is not emptying you to weaken you,
maybe He’s making space for what He wants to place in you.

If you feel stretched, challenged, confronted, refined.. that’s not rejection. That’s formation.

Because the leaders God raises are the ones who let Him reshape their hearts,
even when it hurts,
even when it’s unclear,
even when no one sees.

Your breaking is not your downfall.
