Two years ago, Mrs. Rhea Eliza Rafer Sardual and Pastor Richard Sardual tied the knots and until today, God continues to bless them with joy and love they continue to extend to their respective couple ministries.

And it's a wrap for today!

Beyond grateful to these couple, Mr. Romel and Mrs. Jamaica Bianzon-Dacanay, through Mrs. Remy Dacanay, for entrusting this program to us- from "bisperas" (evening celebration before the wedding meant for adolescents and young adults) to the celebration the following day. Though still learning other stints aside from hosting (decorating, coordinating, and everything there is to do during weddings), I'm thankful for the trust and opportunity. I've learned a lot from this experience, and will continue to use them in honing my craft.

Wishing the couple a home filled with joy, prosperity, and love. Happy wedding celebration 🎊🎊🎊

Way back in 2022, Asia Pacific International University, Thailand and the Adventist University of the Philippines collaborated to make possible a
Poetry Evening themed "Love and Life." Grateful to have been a part of the working committee and to host the program together with my college buddy, Precious Em.

DEAD AIR/AWKWARD SILENCE

Host: Let's welcome _______ with our loudest round of applause👏👏👏

Tapos biglang tumahimik habang naghihintay sa kasunod na kaganapan...

This often happens because various problems happen behind the scene- hindi makaconnect sa Bluetooth device or sa audio, may problem aa mic, hindi ready or wala pa ang participant or ang part, may hinihintay, and many others.

While totally normal, this kills the fun and excitement of the program. If it happens often, the DJ or technical operator and host must keep things going. And this is where the ad-lib and out of the script parts happen.

As the host, you may mention the next part of the program, talk with the audience, or think of anything to keep the audience engaged. By far, the K (2k, 3k, 7k) games are my faves.
