Let me tell you a story about our humble beginning..
Chit's Flower Shop opened its shop in the late 1970 and was originally located in Quiapo, Manila. It was owned and managed then by our mother, known to many as Aling Chit, hence the name. Her customers back in the 80s to early 90s varies from well-known fashion designers, media stage directors / designers who have worked behind movies / TV shows and also hotels that carried big names, Manila Hotel is one of them. During those days, she and her talented team of designers, have specialized and provided flower design services to special events like weddings, inaugurals, TV talk show flower bouquets, movie wedding sets etc. and would always leave each event with a happy and satisfied high profile clients.
Sometime in the early 90’s, Chit’s Flower Shop have its branch opened in San Bartolome, Novaliches Quezon City . We started selling small flower arrangements as gifts ~a rose nicely wrapped in a plastic wrapper tied with a ribbon. Eventually, we started to sell designer flower arrangements, bouquets and wreaths for special occasions. A big number of our regular customers are from the visitors of the Holy Cross Memorial Park who bought flowers for their departed loved ones. Until we became known to the nearby neighborhood and the rest, if I may say, is history. We closed the shop in Quiapo in the early 2000 to focus the business in Novaliches and eventually made it our only shop.
Now the flower business has been passed on to the sons and daughter who are now managing the business. Carrying the same passion and dedication of our mother to continue to strive to offer world class flower design.
