Designer’s Note:

For this year’s Valentine’s Day collection, I wanted to honor the many ways we experience love—not just between lovers.

Sometimes, love is intense. It burns like fire, fierce and consuming. It’s tough, aggressive, and dark. This is the love I feel for the world sometimes—when I witness Mother Earth crumbling at the hands of careless leaders, when innocent lives are taken, when capitalism robs us of our time and well-being. But love, even when it’s fierce, isn’t inherently bad. This kind of intense love can be what pushes us toward freedom.

Other times, love is soft—and in that softness, there is resilience. It’s in being a safe space for our loved ones, a shoulder to lean on, a gentle hand reaching out. Love is found in the smallest gestures: “Have you eaten today?” “How are you feeling?” “I cut up some fruit for you!”

There is no single way to feel or express love. We should honor all its forms—in ourselves, in our loved ones, in others, and in Mother Earth.
