We're back and this time with our very own Nikko Pascua's band's album launch! Come one and all to Amongst Wolves' Six to Eight album launch at Route 196 on March 22. Featuring The Purplechickens, The Squibs, and The Oemons.

Most of the members of Bui! actually took part in the preparations for this EP launch, so yeah, I thought I'd post these here.:D

Idioms and Dispositions has always been one of the bands closer to our hearts, since we've been really good friends with practically all of them. We've witnessed them as early as their days as "When Dancing Monkeys Attack," to where they are now.

Last night, our good friends were finally able to release their first EP! And like what I'd always say about the gigs Bui! gets to cover, everyone who was there sure had a damn swell time!

The night opened with Joop, followed by The Squibs, who were very welcoming to play given that The Jeffrey Zulueta Experience had some emergency thingamajigg going on. After them was Autotelic, and She's Only Sixteen (whooo they played Dying to Meet You!!) then opened for Idioms and Dispositions.

I have here a photo of the bands' setlist, so be sure to check it out just so you know what you prolly missed given you weren't there last night. Haha!

Long time no see, guys!

Our friends from Idioms and Dispositions celebrated their 2nd anniversary last September. Took me a pretty damn long time before I got to finally post the photos from the gig!

It wasn't an official Bui! gig, but of course, we're present for one of our closest band friends in the scene.

The boys of Imelda has partnered with Bui! to cover their one helluvan EP launch. Truly, Route 196 was jam-packed that night, and boy, were we rocking to practically all the sets, from opening to the main act!

Imelda is a group of five men of five distinct personalities who are fused by a common love for blues and hard rock.

Imelda was formed from a previous musical project in 2011 and has been making-rounds in the university and bar scene playing at venues like the UP Fair, Saguijo, and Route 196 to name a few. In a word, Imelda is all about bringing back good ol’ Rock n’ Roll infused with a multitude of other influences from the music of today.

Get a chance to experience the band for yourself on September 27, 2013 at Route 196, Katipunan Avenue Extension, Quezon City during the launch of their first-ever EP! .

Attendees will be treated to a night of good music courtesy of other acts - The Squibs, Hansom, Nanay Mo, and PerkyWasted, good food and drinks, and a whole lot more! Php 250 gets you in and a copy of Imelda’s EP. Rock n' roll!
