NU Fairview, under the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Department, proudly showcased its artistry and excellence at the Philippine Food Expo, emerging as Champion in the Philippine Regional Table Setting Category.
This victory reflects not only the students’ creativity and precision but also their deep understanding of hospitality standards and Filipino cultural aesthetics. With meticulous attention to detail, elegant arrangements, and innovative design concepts, NU Fairview’s team transformed the dining table into a stage of culinary storytelling—impressing judges and audiences alike.
The winning team was composed of Mr. Renz John R. Millan (Professor), Mr. John Lester Ledona (Student), and Ms. Hannah Cabatuando (Student), whose collaboration and dedication brought this prestigious recognition to NU Fairview.
What made this triumph even more meaningful was the team’s dedication to highlighting the heritage and legacy of the Davao Region. Their presentation paid homage to the rich cultural traditions of Davao, weaving regional artistry and symbolism into the table setting to celebrate the depth of Filipino identity.
Congratulations to our champions for bringing honor to National University Fairview and the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Department, setting the bar high in the art of table setting!
