Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 7
Weather System: Southwest Monsoon (Habagat)
Issued at 11:00 AM, 28 August 2026 (Friday)

Metro Manila, including Taguig City, remains under Yellow Heavy Rainfall Warning. Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are currently being experienced across the city and are expected to persist within the next two to three hours.

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬:

Some low-lying areas may start to see minor ponding or shallow flooding, especially if drainage is poor.

Traffic might move slower than usual during downpours.

Wet and slick roads could make driving or walking more hazardous.

𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲:

Extra caution is necessary in flood-prone areas and along roads that tend to collect water during downpours.

Reduced visibility and slippery road surfaces may affect travel conditions.

Pedestrian routes may become hazardous due to pooling water or uneven pavement.

Appropriate rain gear and non-slip footwear are recommended when outdoors.
