More than just a Japanese festival —this is an event created, organized, and run by the Japanese community in Manila, together with our Filipino friends.

Dance, connect, and experience how Japan and the Philippines come together through Bon Odori.

This year’s Bon Odori is also part of the 70th Anniversary of Japan–Philippines Friendship, celebrating decades of shared history through music, dance, and community.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Philippines. Therefore, we are holding this event as a commemorative event for the Japan-Philippines Friendship Year (70th Anniversary of Diplomatic Normalization).

We hope this will be an opportunity for many members of the Manila Japanese Association and Filipinos to deepen their friendship.
