Their silk gazzar gowns are accentuated by printed appliques. Made those patterns to have a bit of flora and fauna of Africa to match the theme.. To make it a bit tribal.. Ms Dawn and I unearthed literally her costume jewelries, trinkets and loose gems. Each flower is handstitched with semi-precious stones, lapiz lazuli, some ceramic, Indian glass beads, corals in all sizes, pieces of broken mother of pearl and shells. I love how smart and practical she is.. plus the freedom I had in making their gowns an too.
