PTTC-GMEA reaffirms its commitment to innovation and MSME development through the Ceremonial Launching of the Expansion of the Shared Service Facilities (SSF) on Digital Fabrication for Training on Packaging, Labeling, and Product Design for Food and Non-food Products.
In her welcome remarks, Executive Director Clare Mari S. Torralba highlighted DigiFab as a testament to the impact of government support for MSMEs, having capacitated more than 320 MSMEs from 2022 to 2025. Undersecretary Blesila A. Lantayona underscored that the initial investment in December 2020 was established to provide MSMEs with practical access to advanced facilities and technologies without the full financial burden of ownership.
In his closing remarks, Acting Regional Director Jay A. Acar emphasized that the success of the PTTC DigiFab Shared Service Facility demonstrates the value of investing in technology, innovation, and capacity-building. He noted that through its training programs and technology-driven services, DigiFab has empowered MSMEs to enhance their products, strengthen their competitiveness, and pursue new opportunities.
The program also featured an overview of DigiFab Programs and Services and a Direct-to-Object UV Printing Demonstration, showcasing expanded opportunities for entrepreneurs to elevate their products, packaging, and market readiness.
Together, we continue to expand pathways for MSME growth, innovation, and inclusive economic development.
