This is what it looks like. Crafted during the pandemic, launched in the middle of a crisis. I don't know if the spirit of this book demanded to be constantly in fight mode, so I made it sure it was armored up thick and heavy, with a glorious, glorious facade.

Gold debossed title. Gold gilded edges. A hardcover built to sit on a shelf and be picked up again years from now.

The first time I saw GREYHOUNDZ, I asked myself why they weren't bigger than they were, and then while I was standing close to them, the ground shook. That question became this book.

Most of these photographs were taken during the resurgence, when new generations started appearing at shows, discovering Greyhoundz online, a band that had once sold physical records and won platinum awards for it. It wasn't about nostalgia for the new kids. There were people looking for a place of release, and their music, just like how it started, became a stronghold for anyone looking to belong in their rage.

Greyhoundz is the story of a band that should have broken through completely. Underground royalty, massive in the scene, invisible to the mainstream. If you think they were already as huge as they needed to be, you don't know what they could have become if fate hadn't intervened. Multiple times.

They had to learn how to survive the in-between. The dip. And what I found in that dip, in those years most people skipped over, were some of the most important photographs I have ever taken.
Because that's when you find out who a band actually is.

They broke through doors that weren't meant for them. Built a fanbase that doesn't just listen — they release something in the pit that they can't find anywhere else. It was never about ending. There were so many almosts, and each push kept them moving forward.

But here we are: a book, and a band celebrating 30 years with the same raw, aggressive power they had at the beginning.

I wanted this book to hold all of that. Not just the big stages, not just pretty pictures (though those are here) but where they came from, what they went through, and how they stood back up. There are parts of it that fans can only relate to, and a story that when I shared it with people who do not know the band, felt like they knew them from what I have written and shown.

The book is large. The paper is heavy. The photographs were made over twenty years. None of it was accidental.

Because this isn't just about Greyhoundz.
