🚨 CRAFTERS / SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS, PLEASE BE AWARE 🚨

Sharing my recent experience para maging aware ang fellow sellers and crafters.

May nag-message sa akin na buyer asking to purchase a ₱1,400 bouquet. Sabi niya gagamit siya ng business account for payment, kaya humingi siya ng email address ko.

After that, nakatanggap ako ng email claiming that my ₱1,400 payment was “on hold” and that an additional ₱6,000 was supposedly needed for the payment to be credited as a business account. The email also instructed me to contact a WhatsApp “support” number.

I did NOT send any money, OTP, MPIN, password, or verification code. I also did not release the bouquet because the ₱1,400 was never reflected in my GCash account.

When I suggested meeting on the scheduled pickup date and paying upon pickup instead, the buyer blocked me.

Please be careful with similar transactions. Always verify that the payment is actually reflected in your own account before releasing an order. Don't rely solely on screenshots or payment emails, and never send money just to “release” or “upgrade” a payment.

Sharing this for awareness, especially for fellow crafters and small business owners. 💐❤️
