As the Peñafrancia Festival 2026 reaches its culmination, the last change of flowers for Our Lady of Peñafrancia becomes a beautiful expression of thanksgiving, devotion, and love for Ina.

The arrangement is centered on an abundant display of white flowers and lush greenery. The purity of the white blooms creates a peaceful and solemn atmosphere, while the generous layers of flowers surrounding the altar give the image of Ina a majestic and heavenly setting.

The fullness and cascading form of the arrangement beautifully expresses an overflowing offering: prayers, gratitude, sacrifices, and love being placed before Ina at the conclusion of the novena.

This final floral arrangement carries special meaning because the ninth day of novena at the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral culminates on September 19, 2026, followed by the Peñafrancia Fluvial Procession, when Ina and the Divino Rostro are returned to the Basilica Minore through the Naga River.

Thus, the last change of flowers is not simply the final decoration of the altar, it is a final floral offering before Ina’s homecoming.

From the first flower placed at the beginning of the novena to this final abundant arrangement, every bloom becomes part of a greater prayer:
