I WORE THIS DRESS BECAUSE...

1. I PROMOTE SELF-CONFIDENCE – I want everyone to realize that nothing and no one should stop them from wearing whatever they want AS LONG AS it doesn’t cause any trouble to other people. I always believe that being confident enough will always take you to something better. Walang mangyayari sayo kapag pahiya-hiya ka. When you’re confident ‘dun mo malalaman na hindi importante ang sasabihin ng iba.

2 I’M BREAKING THE STIGMA – Not because you're fat, has uneven skin tone, and discoloration doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to wear different and new outfits. EMBRACE YOUR FLAWS while slowly working on them. Allow yourself to explore coz you will never know unless you try. Wear croptops, sleeveless, and backless, GO!! and Always ask yourself, “IF NOT NOW, WHEN?”

3. I SUPPORT SELF-LOVE – People will love you more when they see you loving yourself. So, when they see you confident enough and doesn’t minding what people will say, it radiates it to them. Ipakita mong kaya mong dalhin ang sarili mo at kaya mong bigyan ng justice ang suot mo.

This is not to justify the dress I wore at the event but just simply telling you the reasons behind. Mind you, I DID NOT MENTION THESE REASON ON MIC but I hope they get the message I want to imply.

I am not a Host for no reason. Magsasaya tayo sa event, yes. But I won’t end the program without sharing at least a piece of sensible thoughts. If we can have fun, we can learn too.
