Sharing this valuable tip from Ms. Darlene Salazar!
Having a good lights and sound supplier will make or break your reception program. Not to mention the hassle if the projector / led wall that they have provided has poor quality. Many times, we experience this... we spend hours enhancing the color of your photographs for the AVP and onsite slideshow and it breaks our creative hearts to find out that the display of the projector is washed out (over exposed), or too dark, or has weird tint colors and could basically ruin the slideshows that we worked hard for.

Lights and Sounds (& Projector) supplier is also a major supplier. Read down below to find out why

Please dear couples...
One of the most important shots during a wedding ceremony is the exchange of rings. I know there are a lot of things going on within your special day and most couples wont think about this but it would greatly help if you remember to show us the exchange of rings! At this point, photographers are only allowed at a certain spot (depending on your church, and also to pay respect to the ceremony) so there's not much room for movement. It would be best to face each other and please do not hold anything else but the ring while you are putting it into his/her fingers. There were instances where the bride/groom is holding a hanky / microphone/ wedding vow paper / misallete / bouquet, etc .... believe me, i've seen many things blocking the shot of the exchange of rings and it breaks my heart everytime. So please please please, remember to show us this part of the ceremony ❤️

You want to know the truth? Your wedding isn't gonna be perfect!
Okay guys, before you react violently, hear me out 😅
It is a fact that you won't be able to control everything and there will be things that may not go as planned. May it be the weather, skin breakouts, things that you need that you suddenly cannot find, or guests who suddenly cannot come... Just let go and enjoy your big day! I know that it may not sound easy, having been planning the wedding for several months, it can be tempting to to continue to hold all of the details you’ve so carefully planned in your head, and feel the need to check in and personally verify that all of your details are set up according to plan. If you're going to spend the day worrying about small details, you're likely going to miss the things that matter. So, let go and be present! Let it all soak in! Enjoy the moment marrying the love of your life. 💞

Choosing a Location for Preps🏢

When my husband and I got married 10 years ago, we didn't know what things to consider when booking a preparation location. All we knew was we had to book 2 rooms... so we went ahead and booked the smallest hotel room available. We did not know that there were several factors that needs to be considered:

1. It should be large enough to accommodate all of your suppliers. Photo and Video team alone counts 8-10 people already, add to that your Make-up Team, Coordinating Team and family members, not to mention your entourage. You could just imagine how crowded we were on our wedding day! 😂😅

2. Please choose a room that has big windows and allows nice ambient light - for photos of course ☺️

3. Choose a location that is already near your ceremony or church. This will save us in travel time and also, there's less probability that we'll get stuck in terrible traffic.

4. Lastly, ask the hotel if they allow outside food. Some hotels are strict with this so it's hard to distribute crew meals for the suppliers and meals for your family. It will save us time instead of going out to look for fast-food which is sometimes inaccessible.

For Manila weddings, hotels are the more popular choice but there are also gems in Airbnb! Tagaytay however offers more competitive options in terms of space and price point, you just need to do your research! ☺️
