"“Moving Closer” — Our Love Story

There’s a song that will always remind us of how our love story began—“Moving Closer.”
Back when we were still in college, I noticed a girl with the most beautiful smile. She was my classmate in Philippine History, and somehow, among all the people around us, my eyes were always drawn to her.
But there was one little problem—she didn’t even seem to notice me. She hardly looked my way.

So, what could I do?

I had to find a reason to get a little closer.

And sometimes, love begins with the simplest excuses. So, I borrowed her notes, not because I really needed the notes, but because I needed a reason to be near her.

Little by little, that simple moment became the beginning of something beautiful.

I was trying to move closer to her, never realizing that Cupid was already doing his part. With every smile, every conversation, and every little moment we shared, our hearts slowly found their way toward each other.

And then, Cupid finally struck—not just her heart, but mine too.

What started with a borrowed pen became a beautiful love story.

And now, whenever we hear “Moving Closer,” we remember those college days when two hearts were slowly, unknowingly, and beautifully moving closer to each other.

Because sometimes, the greatest love stories don’t begin with a grand moment.

Sometimes, they begin with a smile…

a borrowed notes...

and two hearts that were destined to meet and now she is my officially Mrs. Payumo
