The styling successfully transformed a relatively simple venue into a dramatic, elegant, and celebratory evening setting—appropriate for recognizing years of dedication and service. It also reflects Don Obra’s approach of using fabric, lighting, florals, greenery, and carefully placed statement pieces rather than relying on excessive décor.🍃🙏😇

We don’t need lavishness to make a space extraordinary. All it takes is curated styling, thoughtful details, and a touch of artistry to transform an ordinary space into something uniquely beautiful.
This is Don Obra — inspired by God’s creation. Simple, yet elegant. 🍃😇🙏
Don Obra styled the SPSPS Years in Service & Employees’ Night with a sophisticated jewel-toned garden soirée concept, balancing rich colors, luxurious fabrics, lush greenery, and warm lighting.🍃
The overall design centered on a dramatic combination of deep teal, burgundy, magenta, red, champagne, and touches of gold. The rich teal draping created an elegant backdrop, while the burgundy and magenta fabric-wrapped pillars added depth and drama. Cascading floral arrangements in shades of fuchsia, pink, white, and red softened the bold palette and gave the setup a romantic garden character.🍃
For the main stage area, Don Obra combined sculptural fabric draping, floral accents, chandeliers, and layered lighting to create a theatrical focal point. The use of chandeliers brought a classic, upscale feel while the flowing fabrics added movement and elegance.🍃
The staircase and side-stage styling shifted toward a lush garden aesthetic, using oversized textured vases, roses, eucalyptus-inspired foliage, moss, lanterns, and cascading greenery. This helped visually connect the stage with the rest of the venue rather than treating the stage as an isolated decoration.🍃
The entrance aisle became one of the strongest statement pieces. Gold-framed arches were layered along the red carpet and finished with champagne drapes, crystal-like hanging strands, and chandeliers. The repetition of the arches created a grand perspective leading guests into the celebration.🍃
For the photo wall, Don Obra created a more dramatic, red-carpet-inspired setup using rich red draping, dark navy fabric, theatrical uplighting, and velvet ropes—giving the Employees’ Night a glamorous awards-night atmosphere.📍📸😇
