Nitoy
A meek soul.
A journeyman.
A legendary guitarist.

Nitoy didn’t finish school—he’s been a musician for most of his life. From his early days as a struggling artist in Olongapo to eventually finding purpose and recognition as the guitarist for The Jerks (alongside another legend, Chikoy Pura), Nitoy’s journey has always been rooted in music.

He bent strings and strummed chords that echoed far beyond the stage—leaving behind a legacy in every note.

For over 40 years, his domain was the stage. Bars and live venues were where he shared his gift, which— for many of us—felt like magic.

Nitoy has collaborated with some of the country’s most respected artists. He was a former member of supergroups such as Lo**ta and the Boys, Coco Jam, The Oktaves, and Kosmikskala.

With his iconic red Stratocaster, he carved a unique voice in the local music scene—one that spoke volumes even in silence.

A man of few words, Nitoy let his guitar do the talking. And in doing so, he touched countless hearts.

As fans, friends, and fellow souls moved by his music, we are now asking for your help—to give back to the man who has given so much of himself through his art.
