𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗔 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗔 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗘.

LIKHA Maynila is opening its doors to artists, creatives, educators, cultural workers, and community builders through the 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗛𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗬𝗡𝗜𝗟𝗔 𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗨𝗘 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗧.

The first 10 approved event or program proposals will receive 𝙁𝙍𝙀𝙀 venue usage at LIKHA Maynila!

We welcome proposals for workshops, exhibits, performances, film screenings, community gatherings, pop-ups, and other meaningful creative programs.

MECHANICS:

1. Submit a short proposal containing the event title, concept, objectives, activities, target audience, preferred schedule, requirements, and contact details.

2. Each proposed event must have a minimum of 30 participants.

3. Proposed schedules must fall on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, subject to venue availability.

4. Proposals will be evaluated based on purpose, feasibility, audience impact, and alignment with LIKHA Maynila’s commitment to creativity, collaboration, and community.

5. The grant covers "venue usage only", including the agreed ingress and egress period.

6. Production requirements, technical equipment, styling, permits, additional manpower, and other event expenses will be handled by the organizer unless otherwise agreed upon.

7. Outside food and beverages are not allowed. All food and beverage requirements must be coordinated with the LIKHA Maynila team in advance.

8. Selected organizers must observe venue policies and restore the space after the event.

9. The grant is non-transferable and has no cash equivalent.

10. Selected events must acknowledge LIKHA Maynila as the official venue partner in promotional materials and social media posts.

Q***R FILIPINO STORIES ACROSS GENERATIONS.

In celebration of Pride Month, Rainbow Cine Manila 2026 will screen Filipino q***r films from different generations and emerging filmmakers. The event will be held from June 20 to 21 at Café La Manila, Escolta. Full-day access with a drink is at ₱450, and a screening pass is at ₱350.

Q***R MEMORIES HIT ESCOLTA

This June 20 and 21, Escolta is being turned into something different.

Café La Manila at the Calvo Building, Escolta, Manila will transform into a q***r video archive for “Rainbow Cine Manila 2026: An Archive of Q***r Memories,” a two-day program that goes beyond screenings and revisits shared experiences, personal histories, and stories that linger.

The selection traces familiar q***r milestones: first crushes without language yet, prom nights spent navigating visibility and silence, breakups that shifted everything, chosen families that offered support, and growing up q***r in spaces that didn’t always understand—but learning to move through them anyway.

Curated by award-winning indie filmmaker Jay Altarejos for 2076 Kolektib, the program spans four sets over two afternoons (4–7 p.m. screenings), featuring q***r Filipino stories across different eras and tones:

SET A: “Last Night na ni Bading,” “Q***r Prom,” “Pink Halo-Halo”
SET B: “The World We Left,” “Kasal” (The Commitment)
Plus: First-ever cast reveal of “Sa Pagitan ng Ulap”

SET C: “Pagitan,” “Tale of the Lost Boys,” “Q***r Asia–Philippines: Out and Proud”
SET D: “Quarantined Feelings,” “In a Time of Uncertainty”

The event closes with “Rainbow Cine: Gawad Balangaw,” an awards night highlighting selected works from the program.

Positioned as a q***r Filipino memory archive, the two-day event gathers these stories in one shared space—offline, communal, and revisited in real time in Escolta.
