Our Story

Gayle’s Flower Shop is my brainchild - a proof that something good comes from life’s hardships. The idea of putting up a popular flower shop in Manila started when my family moved to Mandaluyong in 2011, to a place located near the cemetery. To others, it may seem sad. For us, we saw opportunity. Flowers are such a big part in the Filipinos’ expression of love for their deceased loved ones. Just coming from a challenging financial blunder in my life, I knew selling flowers was the way that will not only to help us rise up again, but also allow us to provide better expressions of love for the Filipinos. However, the biggest challenge came in the guise of a trial. When my daughter, Gayle - the one who inspired the name of the shop - was confined at home because of Tuberculosis (TB). It was a challenging time, but it was a period where we received the most inspirations for our business. During that time, I discovered that she really could run a flower shop in Manila. She would scoured the same shop three times in Dangwa for quality suppliers. She’s the one who improved the management not only of flowers, but of amazing clients and their flower needs. Our small flower shop got its big break when we became suppliers for a December church wedding. From then, clients poured in, captivated at how different our flower services were from the competition. Seeing the potential of our flower business, we began to offer more innovative services. Today, we’re one of the flower shops that can deliver outstanding services for various events including LGBT celebrations. At Gayle’s Flower Shop, innovation is our passion.
