๐๐ข๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ๐Ÿ“ท: it's dark, damp, and you can feel the fear in the air. The tunnel becomes this mix of soldiers dealing with the craziness of war. Fast forward, and as the Japanese rule tightened, the tunnel turned into a hideout filled with tons of suffering.

Back on On the night of December 24, 1941, a chapter unfolded that etched itself into the island's chronicles during Christmas eve, when the Japanese were all over the place, American and Filipino soldiers took shelter in that tunnel, trying to dodge the chaos. The Malinta Tunnel transformed into a cocoon of suffering, where the echoes of distress were amplified by the ever-encroaching Japanese forces. The very air within seemed to carry the heavy burden of despair as soldiers clung to shreds of hope in the face of adversity.

Now, jump to today, and folks who visit Corregidor talk about some creepy stuff happening in that same tunnel. Whispers, like ghosts still chatting from back in the day, spook people out. Shadows appear, making it feel like those soldiers might still be around. Given the history of the area, it makes instinctual that the entire island of Corregidor is thought to be haunted. On the island, there are still a lot of abandoned buildings, however some are more well-known for having ghost stories than others. The military hospital was established in 1912 and was vital in providing medical care for injured soldiers throughout battles. Numerous people have reported hearing the footsteps, screams, and cries of soldiers receiving treatment at the hospital even now. Some people even assert that they have heard sounds that suggest the hospital is still in use, even though it is now only a decaying shell. Here, several accounts of visual encounters have also been made; apparitions, shadow figures, and distortions in light have all been observed frequently. There's this story about the tunnel suddenly getting super cold, and visitors feeling this weird vibe, like they're not alone. People think it's the leftover vibes from the tough times soldiers faced. Their spirits said to linger in the shadows, haunting the tunnels with the echoes of a bygone era.

Join us on our seminar where we will unfold the haunted history of Corregidor island, inviting you to be a part of an exploration that goes beyond the ordinary this November 29, 2023 at Justo Albert Auditorium. The mysteries awaitโ€”will you be there to uncover them? Don't miss out on the chance to be a part of history, both seen and unseen! ๐Ÿ‘€

In the creepy old dungeon of Fort Santiago, you could feel this weird chill, like ghosts were still hanging around. People said there was this ghost named Maria, who had some tragic story tied to these stone walls. The American colonial period that followed also saw Fort Santiago used as a military prison. During World War II, the Japanese Imperial Army occupied the Philippines and used the fort as a prison and torture chamber. 600 decaying bodies were found by the US Army inside the Fort Santiago prisons. Due to the extreme cramped conditions, every prisoner suffocated from heat exhaustion, hunger, and suffocation. The victims were often political prisoners, rebels, or individuals deemed threats to the ruling powers. Many endured harsh conditions and, in some cases, faced torture or ex*****on.
Every night, a rumor that the place gets alive with strange sounds โ€“ chains rattling, footsteps echoing, and you could hear someone was writing messages on the walls in the dark.
When the clock hit midnight, a ghostly lantern would flicker, casting these spooky shadows. You'd hear whispers of stories โ€“ betrayal, revenge, heartbreak โ€“ like the place had memories etched into it. Imagine feeling an icy hand on your skin or sensing some invisible guide as you wandered through the ghostly maze.

People who dared to stay overnight talked about seeing skeletons in ripped clothes, acting out their final moments with silent screams. It's like the whole dungeon becomes a haunted stage, with the past coming back to life.
Whether it's the ghostly footsteps or the quiet whispers, the Fort Santiago dungeon keeps these stories alive, making sure the tales of its ghostly inhabitants stick around for those brave enough to step into their world. Join us as we discover the ghoulish events of the past this November 29, 2023 at Justo Albert Auditorium. In the eerie silence of the Manila Film Center, whispers of a tragic past lingered. The air inside carried an unsettling heavy weight, laden with the untold stories of tragedy and the eerie residue of an unfinished construction. On November 17, 1981, a scaffolding collapsed, causing a number of workers to fall into quick-drying cement. In the aftermath, to meet the festival's deadline, the decision was made to encase the bodies of the deceased workers in the building's foundation. The official records spoke of hasty cover-ups and secrecy surrounding the accident, and soon, the tragedy faded from public memory. However, the spirits of those lost souls seemed unwilling to move on. As the sun dipped below the Manila skyline, the Film Center transformed into a field where the past bled into the present. Visitors who dared to step into the Manila Film Center after dark reported strange phenomena. Muted cries resonated through the cold, lifeless corridors, accompanied by the distant echoes of rushed footsteps. Witnesses claimed to have glimpsed apparitions frozen in a never-ending struggle, forever reliving the tragic moments that led to their death. Despite attempts to revitalize the Manila Film Center for cinematic purposes, the supernatural presence persisted, dissuading filmmakers and visitors alike. The Manila Film Center stands not only as a monument of cinema but also as a haunting reminder of a dark and unfinished chapter that refuses to rest in peace.

Don't miss this opportunity to delve into the dark tourism of Manila Film Center โ€“ where the past echoes in every corridor, and the ghosts of history continue to live on.
