sense of music at The Beat Project Manila wherein he was mentored only by the finest in the music industry and therefore honed his talents as a DJ. Having an exceptional gift and great passion for music, Gavin Skewes gained distinction and is renowned in the local and international scene, as he plays in various top clubs and major music events all over the Philippines and in different parts of Asia. He even seized the title 2014 CHAMPION in the National Finals of the San Mig Light DJ Spin-off and is now the ambassador of the brand as well. He is also one of the freshest members of the prestigious Magic 89.9 Saturday Night Takeover roster. This young breed is continuously swaggering his distinctive bravura in his field...as for him "it only gets STRONGER and BIGGER every day!"

We can all agree that the keyword for 2020 is health. Well rather than doing nothing this year I decided to address my health issues. I am very excited to let you all know as of today I am now down 33kgs (72.5pounds) I have gone from ###L to somewhere between medium - large.
This was no easy journey and did take a lot of discipline and hard work.

I couldn’t have done this on my own. First up I want thank my partner Jacqui for always making sure I was fed right and was staying on task. My parents Glen and Joy for always encouraging me and keeping me positive throughout this year. My homies Josef Rakich Fitness and Brett for all the food advice and workout plans (make sure to hit them up!) My Muay Thai trainer Steve for consistently pushing me and beating me up when I needed. My manager Karla who has been asking me for years to drop weight 😆 and last my son Aston for always keeping me positive and putting a smile on my face. If I missed out anybody thank you thank you thank you.

This is not the end of the health journey it’s just me ticking off a goal weight. I will continue to strive towards greatness in both my DJ career and fitness.

2021 come at me!
