We spend so much on the wedding.
₱80,000 for the gown.
₱200,000 for the venue and decorations.
₱100,000 for food, souvenirs, performers, fireworks.
And yet…
some of the people we invited won’t even remember what was served.
Some will leave before the program ends.
Some were just there for the photos.
Because the truth is—
no amount of spending can buy genuine connection.
You can feed them, impress them, entertain them—
but you can’t force them to stay,
to care,
or to clap for you when it’s your turn to shine.
That’s why in life,
we need to stop spending just to be seen.
And start building with those who are truly present.
Because the most expensive celebrations
can still feel empty
if the hearts in the room aren’t really with you.
Spend less on the setup.
Invest more in the relationships that matter.
